Blue Orange Green Pink Purple
TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both. And be one traveler, long I stood . And looked down one as far as I could. To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there . Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay . In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh . Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

ROMEO:  If I profane with my unworthiest hand
This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this:
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.

Indahnya tanganmu, Tanganku tidak layak untuk sentuh tanganmu itu. Jikalaumu rasa telapak tanganku terlalu kasar buatmu, bibirku bolehlah lembutkan sentuhan itu dengan mencium bibirmu.

JULIET: Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.

Usahlah saudara memperkecilkan diri.  Tangan itu sentuh tangan orang-orang alim. Sentuhan tapak bertemu tapak bagaikan ciuman.

ROMEO: Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?

Bukankah orang-orang juga punyai  bibir ?

JULIET: Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.

Ya, bibir yang mereka gunakan untuk berdoa.

ROMEO: O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do;
They pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.

Maka, boleh la ku gunakan bibir seperti gunakan tangan. Ku berdoa agar kau ciumku. Kabulkan la doaku, kerana jika tidak, akan ku sedih pilu.

JULIET: Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake.

Orang alim-alim tidak bergerak pabila berdoa.

ROMEO : Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take.
*kiss*
Thus from my lips, by yours, my sin is purged.

Maka jangan la bergerak sambil doaku bertindak.
*cium*
Dosa-dosaku telah kau ambil dari bibirku.

JULIET: Then have my lips the sin that they have took.

Adakah bibirku kini punya dosa-dosa mu?

ROMEO: Sin from thy lips? O trespass sweetly urged!
Give me my sin again.
*kiss*

Dosa-dosaku? kemanisan dirimu yang buatku lakukan perbuatan ini. Pulangkan dosa-dosaku!
*cium*

J
ULIET : You kiss by the book.

Kau cium seperti diajar.

Tunku Kurshiah College

On my way back home yesterday, I promised myself that I will write this experience in my blog. First reason is that I haven't been updating and secondly because it's just something that I feel should be shared.

Yesterday, I accompanied my grandmother to her TKC Old Girls Dinner. It was at Shangri-la Hotel. The theme of the night was Sugar & Spice. The emcee was this ex-tkc who later on became Miss Malaysia in 1978. I love her voice. She sounded so sophisticated(something that I want to become in the future). She said she took her SPM in 1971 but that means she must be about 55?  But she looks so young!!! She's pretty=)(something that I want to be too)

well, that's not my point actually. I actually want to talk about the event itself. So the evening started off with some speeches, followed by the serving of the feast. The food was okay. Nothing that I particularly went crazy about. Western food will always have a constant cliche taste. You know how it'll taste like. Nothing spectacular. Delicious, but okay la. Exception to Italian of course. YUmmss!!!

Throughout the event, people were very mobile. Moved here and there. Meeting up with old friends, catching up, exchanging phone numbers or latest phone numbers and facebook display names. There were also performances. To be honest, the performances weren't really hitting my beat. Though there were songs that I know, most were alien to me. Anyhow, there was an instrumental band from RTM, Noryn Aziz, TKC girls doing Billy Jean(Kys can knock them off anytime baby, ehem, excuse me=p) and an accapella by the McOBA boys(or men?).  It was really quite entertaining seeing these grey/white haired grown men singing their hearts out in front of a hall full of women. If this was how it was in the old days, it's okay, biasa lah. But to see the scene once they've retired and have grandchildren like me, I may say, is absolutely adorable.

Finally, the last event was one that should be taken note off. Open dance floor!! Again, if it was seen as people of my age shaking to "i know you want me" by Pitbull, it's completely normal. But we're talking about the golongan emas here. At first it was a traditional joget so this pair of mid 50s couple came to the dance floor and started doing the the joget. More came and joined later. And to my surprise, they all knew how to joget. These women and men of age ranging from 40s to 60s all knew how to joget. Ni bukan yang kekok2 punya joget taw. Ni berjoget berlenggok joget. Yang muda2 pulak, I noticed one(I think late 20s kot), agak hip hop jogetnya. sangat lucu! Afterwards, the choice of songs went more modern as it plays. After joget was chacha. For which again, these 50 year old ladies knew how to. It's like these old TKC girls knew all the dances in the book. I was astonished! I began to wonder how it was when they were at school. Did they learn it in school?

Okay. More songs played after that from grease lightning to some other 60s twist songs, to as modern as hey macarenna and aseraje. That's like almost my time man. ahah. Good to see that they are re -alleviating those moments dancing and performing on stage or at the dorm. Accepting differences and being tolerant towards each other and simply 'dancing' it off. From my table, I wish I could join them and feel the enjoyment they are feeling being with old school friends. Besides, dancing is SO my thang ya'lls. But it's not my school. It's wan's. And she didn't join in so I didn't too. Still, wish I could though.

It was a great event. Very posh. I wish my school can do something like this event. maybe in the next 10 years maybe? C'mon la, something TKC can do, KYS do better la.=)

Please excuse my extreme school patriotism in this post. Hope it hasn't offended any readers. =)

The Weekly 10

Honestly speaking, I'm so not in the blogging mood. Well, partly because I'm at home and nothing happens to me. Another reason would be because I'm not in college ie. i'm not doing any intellectual work so my mind isn't very productive. *pause* (see, it's like a mind blockade. my mind refuses to allow my intellectual-ness  to flow into my writing/blogging). CRAP!.

OKAY! i suppose i'll talk about recent happenings and stuff.

1. I'm into baking now. and I'm so growing biceps out of all the batter mixing. My next project is a moist chocolate cake. Going baking shopping soon.

2. I haven't been doing productive studying. I attempted to study but I got bored too easily. I need a drive, but I don't know what is it.

3. English classes are running along quite owww..kaaayyy..i think. Although, i honestly wish I don't have to attend it. Luqman shouldn't have to either. I think he has better english than most of the people in that class. But on the bright side, he's not wasting time playing video games and obsessing about his new windows 7 upgrade and criticizing Mac's capabilities. Fyi, I'm pro-Mac and he's anti-Mac.

4. I bought a new handbag at this cool shop at Rasta. The shop is really cool I tell you. The bags there are so vintage and old-school looking but heck I wish I could buy more than one. It's called UsUsUs Clothing if you guys want to check it out. I would definitely recommend so=)

5. I got my first not so great reply from my UCAS application. My application to Uni. of Birmingham was unfortunately UNSUCCESSFUL. Down. The news was definitely a big BAMMM for me. I mean it's only been 2 weeks since I sent in the application(or at least  the college did) and they hate me already??again... DOWN!

6. On the other hand, I got my first offer yesterday. WHOOPIES!!! from Uni. of Exeter with a conditional offer of BLOODY set of AAA, including Mathematics. Heck, good enough.alhamdulillah. At least they didn't give me a killer offer by saying that  I have to get A for F.Maths. Naaahh.. quite unlikely considering that my course is Economics not Mathematics or Actuarial Science. uhh,at least I hope so.

7. I have a big tummy now. Need to eat less.

8. Going to watch a play at HELP this Friday with Eupho peeps. Quite excited about meeting old friends.

9. Aimi coming to KL. So, gonna hang out with college friends on Monday. I hope it works out. I can only make it after 3.(because of the english class)

10. Need a pair of new flats and a wardrobe clear-up. Nothing fits into the cupboard anymore and I only wear half of the clothes in it.
